After stumbling upon a delicious Orange-Ginger Green Smoothie while surfing the web, I just had to share it with you! It harnesses the health benefits of ginger, spinach, oranges and bananas and tastes exceptionally wonderful as well.  And with absolutely no added sugar it’s a win-win! You can add (or subtract) the ingredients to suit your taste, but trust me when I say this stuff is good just as the recipe calls for it. IngredientsOrange-Ginger Green Smoothie

  • 2 Organic Navel Oranges
  • 2 Organic Bananas
  • 1-2″ Knobs of Fresh Ginger
  • 1 Organic Cucumber
  • 4 Organic Romaine Lettuce Leaves
  • 4 Large Handfuls of Organic Spinach
  • 1.5 Cups of Filtered Water

 

Directions

  1. Thoroughly rinse and wash vegetables to prepare them for the smoothie. Even organic veggies need to be washed!
  2. For those who have the benefit of a powerful blender, you can throw all of the ingredients in and blend away. If you don’t have this option, make sure you blend the spinach and romaine first until they are nice and smooth, and then add in the rest of the ingredients (seriously, it’s that easy!)
