Green Smoothies With Cranberries
Cranberries have a distinct, tart flavor that will enhance any green smoothies that you might include them in. These berries are an excellent source of dietary fiber and Vitamin C, but they also contain considerable amounts of magnesium, Vitamin K, manganese, calcium, iron, potassium and phosphorus. If you are interested in trying out green smoothies with cranberries, then we have an excellent one for you to try right here!
- 1/2 cup cranberries
- 1 cup organic red grapes
- 2 cups fresh organic baby spinach (or other leafy green)
- ½ cup of purified water
Each of these ingredients should be added to your blender one at a time and blended together until smooth. Because cranberries tend to be rather tart, it is recommended that you start with ½ a cup of cranberries and add more to taste. If you feel that your green smoothie should be sweeter, then you can add a natural sweetener of your choice to taste.
This recipe will yield approximately 2-3 cups of green smoothies, but the recipe can easily be doubled if you need too. These green smoothies are a great source of calcium and Vitamins A and C, and they just might become one of your new personal favorites.
