Green Smoothie With Grapes
It does not matter whether you use green grapes or red grapes in your green smoothie. Grapes make an excellent and healthy addition to any green smoothie recipe. Most individuals prefer to use seedless grapes when making green smoothies.
There are numerous health benefits to be enjoyed by adding grapes to your green smoothie. For example, did you know that grapes are an excellent source of Vitamins K and C, as well as many different antioxidants? There are phytonutrients found in grapes that have been linked to cancer prevention, a reduction in the chances of developing heart disease, and in combatting the effects of Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia. For all of the health benefits they have to offer, why would you not want to include grapes in your green smoothie?
- 2 cups red grapes
- 1 whole banana
- 1 small handful of fresh Italian parsley
- 2 cups fresh baby spinach (or other leafy green)
- 1/2 cup of purified water if needed
Each of these ingredients should be added to your blender one at a time and blended together thoroughly. One cup of this green smoothie recipe only contains 351 calories and your full day’s serving of Vitamin C!
