Grapes offer a number of health benefits. They have been used to treat constipation, fatigue, indigestion, kidney disorders, and macular degeneration. Additionally, regularly eating grapes can help your body prevent itself from developing cataracts. As a fruit, grapes offer a rich source of vitamins A, C, B6 and folate, in addition to essential minerals like potassium, calcium, iron, phosphorus, magnesium and selenium. Grapes also contain a number of flavonoids and antioxidants that can protect your body from damage by free radicals and reduce the effects of aging.
