Green Smoothie Recipes with Blueberry Pineapple
Green Smoothies are healthy shakes and have become very popular. Green smoothie recipes are made by blending green raw leafy vegetables, like spinach, with fruit and water or ice. A tasty fruit for green smoothie recipes is blueberries and pineapple. Blueberries are a great source of antioxidants. The pineapple will add anti-inflammatory properties and help with digestion. When you smooth them together with organic baby spinach you will get a delicious fruity, and a wonderful healthy green smoothie! You can either choose fresh blueberries or frozen. This smoothie is also a rich source of folic acid, vitamins B1 and B6, vitamin K, copper, magnesium, manganese, potassium and zinc. These are the ingredients you will want to add in your smoothie.
2 cups wild frozen blueberries
1 cup pineapple, cubed
1 head organic baby spinach
4 to 6 ounces of filtered water
Add all the ingredients into your blender but leave out the spinach at first. Hit pulse for a few minutes until the fruit is smooth. Then, add the baby spinach last. Blend in the spinach on high for 30 seconds or until the smoothie is nice and creamy.
